SYNDICALISM 76

COL. ESCANDÓN

Located on Sindicalismo street in Mexico City’s Escandón neighborhood, the 1955 building was restored by Francisco Pardo Arquitectos, integrating commercial lots and residential units into one of the city’s most dynamic areas.

Escandón is characterized by its vibrant urban life that brings together cafés, art galleries, and emblematic Art Deco buildings. Along with its surrounding Condesa and San Miguel Chapultepec neighborhoods, the area has experienced a reactivation in recent years due to its cultural wealth and privileged central location.

Here at Reurbano, we understand the city as a living and mutable ecosystem that can be transformed through new social dynamics. By establishing a dialogue between built heritage and contemporary architecture, we develop spaces that generate value in their neighborhoods and a sense of belonging in their users.

With each of our projects, we seek to reactivate the space used by different models of social regeneration through urban architecture and design.
